Sevenoaks Triathlon Club

Welcome to Sevenoaks Tri Club

We are a friendly club based in Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation and Triathlon England. New members are always welcome - from beginners to more seasoned triathletes.

The best way to get started is to come along to one of the organised swim sessions - see Training Times for details. We organise two triathlon events a year, traditionally in April and September - (see the Races tab above) which are always well over subscribed. Club members regularly take part in local, regional and national swimming, cycling and running events and to cap it all we have an active social section too. Swimming

We run 4 pool based sessions per week and 1 open water (summer only). All 4 pool sessions are coached by resident swim coach Mike Wake who has worked hard to create good technique as well as strong swimmers.

We have sets to cater for all levels, with the pool divided up by ability. Please click on the Training tab above for more details.

Cycling & Running

Organised Cycling takes place mainly at weekends. There are regularly two groups that go out on Saturday mornings and one on a Sunday. A regular run group meets at 6:30pm on a Tuesday at the Leisure Centre with a track session on a Thursday evening.

Club Races

The Club runs two sprint distance triathlons every year, usually in April and September. All Club members help out either by marshalling on the day or by assisting with pre-race organisation. These events are extremely popular, it is therefore advised to enter early if you wish to secure a place and avoid disappointment!
