lake training

PaulBW
Hi fans-the lake swimming season is upon us starting Mon eve 14th May,as you may know apart from training we run the odd Aquathong and Barbi and whilst we are restricted by our licence from the council we are always open to ideas and suggestions from members, for instance those of you who have yet to dip your toes in open water, might like a coached group session. So ideas please!
PARKING-at the moment the car park is being used for road works-so use the opposite car park or park under the road bridge please.
I am all ears.

Sounds fresh! FYI - usually that car park is pay and display - you have to buy tickets in the main Haysden Country Park centre though and drive along. I've just taken a quick look at their website and it says parking charges apply when the park is open - 7.30 to dusk...

club members are okay-we [pay extra for use of the other car par which they have given over to the highways agency,so won,nt be a problem

Hi-lake rules are explained on the club website-however visitors are welcome provided they are btf members,we have a small supply of wetsuits for club members only.

Due to us having to use the smaller car park-i am fitting a bike lock to the padlock on the first gate,if the car park is nearly full, please park on the sides of wider strip of concrete road just before the 2nd gate,
The combination is 1665,please relock after driving through.
