Newby TT questions
06/06/2014 09:20
Hi All,
I'm thinking to trying to build a couple of the interclub TTs into my training, if my questions are easily answered elsewhere please could someone post the links? Otherwise I have a couple of questions...
1. Can you just turn up on the night or do you need to register?
2. I have access to a Ceepo Venom, but it's not UCI legal, can I ride it at an interclub TT for the training? Would I receive a placement on the local results or be left of the list? Otherwise, I'm on my road bike.
3. Can anyone recommend a reasonably flat 10 miler to start?
4. My coach would like me to add a 50 or 100 miler towards the end of the year - any recommendations?
Cheers,
Charlie Ingram

2. You can ride your Ceepo Venom at inter club and open TT's.
3. There's a flat 10 miler next Thursday at East Peckham/Paddock Wood. See Club Diary for details. There's another one on this course later in the month as well.
4. Have a look on the CTT website for events at distances you want to race. Kent TT's are coded Q, Sussex and Surry G and Essex and Suffolk - E.

Any advice on riding 50's and 100. let me know. Have done a few.
I couldn't make last Thursday evening so I had a go at the brands hatch course, during the day, great fun managed 23:45 on my road bike, so looking forward to trying Rob's Ceepo over the same course. Hoping I'll be able to make a few inter club evening sessions soon,
Cheers,
Charlie
