We received this request to help with a study into triathletes injury treatment choices - just a questionnaire, so please help if you can.
I am a fifth year student at the London School Of Osteopathy. I am writing to ask for your assistance as part of a research project that I am carrying out as part of a Bachelor’s level dissertation.
If you would like to assist me then please read on.
Swim coach Tom has drawn up the annual plan for 2016 for swimmers with the club. It should outline the aims and goals of the sessions and make us all better swimmers.

7oaks tri club is now registered to take part in this series!
The series will consist of 5 events from around the South East region, with 3 events needing to be completed to be in the running. The focus for 2016 changes from an individual to that of a club series, so more than ever it is about taking part and representing your local club rather than a few talented individuals dominating events.
Here are some members in action at the KFL Minnis Bay XC Race.
Andy having "fun".
Sally actually having real fun!
The fifth race in the Kent Fitness League Cross Country series took place in Meopham on Sunday December 20th, with a field of over 400 runners.
Sevenoaks AC managed to field a strong team of 36 runners including seven 7oaks tri members to take on the muddy two lap 5.5-mile course cross-country course, which features the famous “water splash” – especially deep this year after the recent rain!

If you were holding a kite at the start of Sunday's cross country race, you would have taken the lead very quickly, at least for the first 200m! There were 27 Sevenoaks ac runners, of which there were only four 7oaks tri members. On a 2 lap, 5.5 mile, muddy course, which is reckoned to be the toughest of the seven race series even without the high winds on the day, James Mason of Sevenoaks AC team won the race in a field of over 400 runners from Kent running clubs. Once again, Cath Linney led the Sevenoaks women's team home and is leading the W45 league.
The temperature was sub-zero as seven 7oaks tri members left Sevenoaks, but it warmed up through the morning and conditions for the race were ideal for running – cold, but clear and sunny.
7Oaks Tri Club is pleased to announce that ten charity places are now available for our Triathlon being held on Sunday 17th April 2016. Entries sold out within twenty one hours of opening.
The places have been donated by 7Oaks Tri Club to ellenor (formally known as chYps Children’s Hospice at Home), a charity for families facing terminal illness to receive the best quality personalised care and support.
It was unseasonably mild for the second round of the Kent Fitness League. The three laps of the undulating Swanley park were not too muddy despite the heavy rain the day before. The Sevenoaks ac team was 31 strong in a field of over 500 runners! This included nine 7oaks tri members:
I’ve spent a few years as a club member enviously reading the exploits of so many of you awesome athletes, thinking that I hadn’t really done anything noteworthy to write about. So I had to change all of that. Not just so I had something to write about but it does help!
Knole park presented a particularly picturesque landscape on Sunday 25th October for the opening round of this season's cross country running league. It was warm and the sun was shining on the autumnal colours for the 500 or so runners from all over the county. Despite the rain the previous night, the ground was not too slippery for 40 Sevenoaks athletics club competitors who romped home to victory in the mixed team and male team result beating 17 other athletics clubs. The female team also came 4th, greatly assisted by 7oaks tri members Cath Linney and Sally Mortleman.

"This link is exclusive to 7Oaks. It means your membership can sign up and pay for the event – and you will see that you have two reserved time slots. The link is available until registration goes public on 1 November. Please share with your club members. After 1 November it will be pot luck, not least because the long route typically sells out within 48 hours".
Some excellent performances on a mild October morning (and some hungover and sleep deprived and first on a bike in a month performances too!).
Thanks to Tony L, Dave T, Neil C, Neil Mc and all other helpers for making it possible.
I am pleased to inform you that they’ve only gone and invited me back again!
Yes, starting on 5th November I’ll be delivering a second winter of turbo training classes at the Methodist Church on The Drive in Sevenoaks every Thursday from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
