Entrants for the 7Oaks Junior Aquathlon on Sunday 5th July have been contacted today. Whether this is their first time at our race or the fifth time they will be made very welcome.
We are very excited that in just over a week that over three quarters of the entry places available have now been filled and we anticipate the rest will be gone within another week.

The Kent Cycling Association's 25 mile 3 Up Team Time Trial takes place on Sunday 8 March. Traditionally the club has several teams taking part so if you want to enter the closing date for entries is Tuesday 24 February. Also don't forget that the club has to provide a certain number of marshals for KCA events during the season so if you ride in the 3 Up or any other KCA event please be prepared to marshal at a KCA event sometime this season if asked.
Following last months vote, and with great pleasure, we would like to formally announce the following new committee members/positions:
Sally Mortleman (Swim Rep), Vanessa Gilmartin (Assistant Swim Rep), Stephen Searby (Vice-chairman), Matt Bee (Webmaster in training) and the new Chairman, Charlie Mortleman.
First up will be Fiona Sweny, physiotherapist at Manor Clinic who will be talking about triathlon related injuries and more importantly how to avoid them. As well as having experience in treating athletes across a number of sports she is a former UK IM finisher. Fiona's CV can be found at www.7oaksphysio.co.uk.
If you're a trained male cyclists between the ages of 18 – 50 doing approximately 6 plus hours of cycling per week, you may be able to take part in a study which will mean a free VO2 Max test!

7Oaks Tri Club are pleased to confirm that their Junior Aquathlon will be held for the fifth time on the afternoon of Sunday 5th July 2015 at Tonbridge School Sports Centre. The event is open to anyone born between 1st January 1999 and 31st December 2007 with athletes competing over varying distances as follows:
Hopefully no ice so going to meet at 8.15 PO and ride to Knockholt Village Hall for Sydenham Reliability Ride. 64KM or 100KM routes all for a £5 with hot drinks at Hunton
