There will be Threshold Test Run of 5k (or 3k for the less inclined) at Sevenoaks School Track on Sunday 9th January at 12.30.

Please be ready to race at 12.30 having completed any necessary warm-ups. It would be preferable but not imperative if you have a HR monitor with an Average HR Function. We can also work out training paces based on speed, although sometimes not so accurate if you plan on training around the slopes of Sevenoaks.

This run is a Threshold test and will give you a baseline for HR Zones to ensure you don't over reach during the winter to set you up for the quicker stuff in the spring.

 Everyone who attends will get training zones (providing you have a HR Monitor) and / or paces to work from which can be used for the upcoming club plans for the Crystal Palace Triathlon and Steelman at Dorney Lake. 

This may clash with a whole host of other events within the family or social calendar but if you can drag yourself away for a while it will certainly be worthwhile.
