"Triathlete" runner up in KCA 12 hour TT - 7 September
Martin Brown had a great ride yesterday and based on the provisional results came second in this gruelling event down in the marshlands of Kent. All Martin's dedicated training paid off during his controlled race, keeping heart rate close to 130 bpm and cadence up at around 95rpm as much as possible, ensuring the early pace wasn't much higher than 20 mph and eating and drinking at the right intervals. Stopping was kept to the minimum at only around 5 minutes in total. Racing the day before in the Inter Club 10 on the A21 obviously didn't affect his performance. A great achievement!
