3rd Chislehurst Chase (10 k), part of the Chislehurst Festival 2011

In perfect weather over 300 runners took part on Sunday 25 September.

With the traffic stopped, the first 100 metres were run on Royal Parade, Chislehurst, then entering St Paul's Cray Common and remaining off-road for the rest of the 10 kilometres. The course was undulating, taking in woodland paths and open fields. Time lost on the steep slopes was or was not regained on the sharp descents, so it was not a perfectly designed course for notching up PBs, but it was scenically attractive.

WOMEN'S WINNERS

1st Catherine Linney, number 208, Sevenoaks Triathlon Club, time: 46.09 (& 16th overall)

2nd Suzy Yates, number 10, Orpington Road Runners, time: 48.08

3rd Carly Jane O'Hara, number 8, Kent AC, time: 48.36
