Hi, I am a Level 2 British Triathlon Federation Coach with a broad range of qualifications, including RSA Exercise to Music, Personal Training, and a PEA in Exercise and Health Studies. I am trained in Anatomy and Physiology, a certified spin-bike instructor, and hold a diploma in Sports Massage and Taping—bringing a well-rounded skill set to her coaching.

My endurance journey began as a marathon runner before discovering triathlon more than a decade ago. Learning to swim as an adult, I have progressed from sprint-distance races to full Ironman events, proudly representing Great Britain at multiple Age Group World Championship races across the globe. These experiences have shaped my coaching philosophy and fuelled my passion for guiding athletes of all abilities.

I have a particular talent for working with beginners and those seeking confidence—especially in the water, where I focus on technique and I can unlock transformative progress.

Balancing my own training with a full-time career, I understand the challenges of fitting triathlon into busy lives. My coaching is built around helping athletes train effectively, sustainably, and with enjoyment.

As a BTF Level 2 Personal Coach, I’m passionate about helping athletes of all levels reach their triathlon goals. Whether someone is just starting out or chasing a podium finish, I thrive on guiding their progress and celebrating their breakthroughs—there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing consistent improvement.

My coaching specialisms include off-road triathlon and duathlon, as well as sprint and Olympic distance events. As an athlete, I’ve earned multiple World, European, and National age group titles across both road and off-road formats, giving me first-hand insight into what it takes to perform at the highest level.

I bring a strong academic and professional background to my coaching. I hold a BSc in Sport Science and a PhD in Sport Psychology, and spent ten years working as a sport scientist with England Netball. This blend of practical experience and scientific expertise allows me to tailor training with precision, ensuring athletes develop both physically and mentally.

I began my triathlon journey over a decade ago, building on a foundation of several years as a dedicated runner. Since then, I’ve competed across a range of distances – including two full Ironman events and six 70.3 races, each one deepening my appreciation for the sport and its community.

Driven by a desire to support others in their own triathlon pursuits, I transitioned into coaching. I’m now a Level 2 British Triathlon Federation coach and a Level 1 Swim England Teacher, with over five years of experience coaching both adults and children in swim and triathlon clubs.

Watching athletes progress week by week is incredibly rewarding, and I take genuine pride in celebrating their milestones—whether it’s mastering a new skill or crossing a finish line they once thought impossible.

Away from triathlon, I enjoy taking on challenges which has recently included running 300km across Iceland and 220km through Patagonia.
